مكاتبات امام علي (ع) با كارگزاران مصر

Imam Ali's Correspondences to the Egyptian Governors

مصر به سبب موقعيت سياسي، اقتصادي و اجتماعي در حكومت امام علي از اهميت بسزائي برخوردار بوده است. اين منطقه از يك سو با شام در تسلط معاويه و از سوي ديگر، با متصرفات تازه فتح شده مسلمانان در شمال آفريقا هم مرز بود. ناآرامي هاي مصر مي توانست در هر دو سوي آن اثرات منفي داشته باشد. به همين رو حضرت اولا قابل اعتمادترين فرماندهان خود يعني قيس بن سعد، محمد بن ابي بكر و مالك اشتر نخعي را به آنجا اعزام كرد؛ و ثانيا در ضمن مكاتبات متعدد همواره توصيه هاي لازم در زمينه حكومت داري را به آنها ابلاغ مي كرد. در اين پژوهش با رويكرد توصيفي- تحليلي و با مطالعه نامه ها و مكاتبات حضرت با كارگزاران خود در مصر، چرايي و مضامين اين مكاتبات مورد بررسي قرار گرفته و نشان داده شد كه افزون بر اهميت سياسي مصر، گسترش اسلام در مناطق تازه فتح شده در شمال آفريقا نيز براي حضرت از اهميت بالايي برخوردار بوده است.

Egypt is of paramount importance in Imam Ali's caliphate due to its social, political, and economic situations. Egypt is the neighbor of Shām, which is under the rule of Mo'awiyah, in one hand and on the other hand, it shares its border with newly conquered areas by Muslims in the north of Africa. Thus, any kind of chaos in Egypt could have negative effect on the both mentioned areas. Therefore, firstly, Imam Ali (a.s) would appoint his most reliable commanders as the governor of Egypt such as Qais bin Sa'd, Muhammad bin Abi Bakr, and Mālik bin Ashtar Nakhaee. an‎d secondly, while corresponding to these commanders repeatedly, Imam would give them constructive advice about methods of governing. Using a descriptive-analytical research method and analyzing these correspondences, the researcher of this study proved that in addition to the Egypt's political importance, the spread of Islam in newly conquered areas of north of Africa is of significance for Imam Ali (a.s).
