اثر وزين زبان‌شناختي كلام و تحليل كلام در سال 2014 براي اولين بار در انتشارات آرمان كولَن (Armand Colin) شهر پاريس به زيور طبع آراسته شد. در اين كتاب، دومينيك منگنو بر روي موضوع بنيادين «كلام و شكل‌گيري گفتمان» متمركز شده و به بررسي مفاهيم اساسي چون جستارهاي كلام، عناصر تحليل گفتمان، سطح سخن، جنس سخن و عالَم سخن توجه ويـژه مبذول داشته است. آن­چه بيش از همه توجه خواننده را به خود معطوف مي‌كند، اين­كه نويسنده از وراي مضمون تحليل گفتمان به مسئلۀ چالش‌برانگيز «زبان و مقولۀ معنا»، با در نظر گرفتن همۀ ابعاد شناختي-فرهنگي-اجتماعي و شرايط يا بافت سخن (contexte) مي‌پردازد.

In this book, Dominique Maingueneau focuses on the fundamental issue of discourse and discourse formation and special attention had for examining the basic concepts such as word queries, the elements of discourse analysis, level of speech, kind of speech, and the world of speech. What pays the reader's attention most of all is that the author beyond the scope of discourse analysis for challenging issue of (language and sense) and considering all cognitive – cultural- social dimensions and context of speech.
