نقدي بر كتاب زبان انگليسي پايۀ نهم ويژۀ دانش‌آموزان كم‌توان ذهني

A Review on English Course Book for 9thGraders with Intellectual Disabilities

هدف از اين مقاله بررسي انتقادي كتاب دانش‌­آموز و كتاب كار درس زبان انگليسي ويژۀ دانش­‌آموزان پيش­‌حرفه­‌اي پايۀ نهم است. روش پژوهش حاضر توصيفي – تحليلي است. با توجه به معيارهاي پيشنهادي نقدِ شوراي بررسي متون و كتب علوم انساني، نقاط قوت و ضعف شكلي و محتوايي اثر ارائه گرديد و سپس پيشنهادهايي براي بهبود كيفيت كتاب و متناسب­‌سازي محتواي آن با توجه سطح توانمندي دانش­‌آموزان كم­‌توان ذهني داده شد. از مهم­ترين نقاط قوت كتاب جدا از معرفي كاركردهاي زباني و روال­‌هاي اجتماعي، استفاده از جملات امري براي آموزش موضوعات درسي است. از مهم­ترين نقاط ضعف كتاب مي­‌توان به‌متوقف شدن آموزش اعداد واختصاص ندادن بخشي براي يادآوري و مرور آنچه در كتاب­‌هاي پيشين آموخته شده اشاره نمود.

The purpose of this article was to review the English course book (student book and workbook) developed for 9thgraders with intellectual disabilities. The method applied was descriptive –analytic. Regarding the proposed criteria by the Council for Reviewing Books and Texts on Humanities, areas of strength and weak points in terms of form and content were presented. Furthermore, series of suggestions were proposed to ameliorate both the quality and the content of the book in terms of the students’ capabilities. The strong point of this book could be pointed out as the use of imperative forms to teach different concepts apart from presenting language functions and social routines. The weaknesses included stopping teaching numbers, and not allocating a specific section to recap what students have learned in 7thand 8thgrades.
