همانگونه كه درنتيجه تحولات سياسي در ايران تماس نزديك فارسي با زبان‌هاي عربي، تركي، فرانسوي و انگليسي صدها لغات را بدين زبان وارد ساخت ، زبان اردو و زبان فارسي هندي نيز رنگي از زبان‌هاي محلي هندوستان را به­ خودگرفته است. بيشتر اين واژه ­ها شامل اسامي خاص و كلمات مربوط به‌مراسم و اعياد و فرهنگ ­و تمدن خاص هندوستان است كه اكثرا هيچ­گونه ارتباط معنوي و لغوي با زبان­ فارسي­ ايراني نداشته ­است‌، به­ ويژه در برخي از منظومه‌ها و ديوان­ شاعران سند و دكن اين تأثير و تأثر حتي بين برخي از شاعران ايراني كه در آغاز سلطنت اسلامي در شمال هندوستان‌؛ همچون "ابولفرج روني" و "مسعودسعدسلمان" به‌سرمي­ بردند از راه نفوذ زبان‌هاي محلي هند كاملا مشهود است. از آنجايي­كه زبان فارسي ايراني در سرزمين و وطن دوم خود هندوستان بيش از هشتصد سال حاكم بود، ادبيات هند تابع فرهنگ ايراني قرارگرفت. آنگونه كه شاعران وقت، گاهي به­ جاي كاربرد گل‌هاي محلي سرزمين خود همچون كنول"نيلوفر"چمپا"گل سفيد و زرد و خوشبو"به‌سنبل و نسترن فارسي و به­ جاي قهرمانان جنگي خود همچون "بهيم و ارجن" به‌رستم و سهراب بسنده مي­كردند، اما برخي از واژهاي فارسي كه در اين سرزمين به­كار­برده­مي­شود از طرفي به­علت نفوذ زبان‌هاي­محلي و فرهنگ­هاي خاص هر منطقه و از طرفي به‌علت رواج و گستردگي سبك هندي، به­ عنوان يك مكتب فكري تازه، تركيبات و اصطلاحات و كنايات و تعبيرات و مفاهيم پيچيده ­اي را پديد آورده است كه از زبان فارسي ايراني در سطح معنوي و فرهنگي واژه‌ها فاصله بسياري ­گرفته ­است. از طرفي، گاهي دانسته و يا نا دانسته، دخل و تصرفات و دگرگوني و فساد در به‌كار‌گيري تلميحات فارسي در زبان و ادبيات اردو ديده مي‌شود كه در اين پژوهش، به‌تحليل و بررسي اختلاف فرهنگي و فساد واژگان و مصادر افعال و تلميحات فارسي در زبان و ادبيات اردو پرداخته ­شده‌ است.
