منظر بصري شهرها كه به عنوان وجه قابل تبلور روابط اقتصادي، سياسي، اجتماعي و فرهنگي ساكنين شهرها، از نقش بسيار مهمي در زندگي شهروندان برخوردار مي‌باشد، امروزه دستخوش معظلات جدي شده است كه اغلب در اثر ساخت نماهاي جديد بدون در نظر گرفتن هماهنگي و انسجام با نماهاي موجود در زمينه مي‌باشد. شهر دزفول نيز تحت تاثير ساخت نماهاي جديد در درون بافت تاريخي شهر، دچار تضادهاي بصري نامطلوبي گشته است. بگونه‌اي كه معماري گذشته به تدريج در حال حذف شدن از سيماي اين شهر مي‌باشد. حال آن‌چه كه در اين وضعيت ضروري مي‌نمايد، وجود اسناد و ضوابط طراحي است كه با بهره‌گيري از زمينه جمع‌آوري شده باشد و با رعايت آن‌ها بتوانيم نماهاي شهري منسجمي را در فضاهاي شهريمان بسازيم، تا از اين طريق ناهمگوني و تضادهاي بصري نامطلوب را تا حد امكان كاهش دهيم. از جمله اسنادي كه در خصوص نماهاي شهري تدوين ميگردد، راهنماي طراحي شهري مي‌باشد كه در اين پژوهش مورد استفاده قرار گرفته است. روش مورد استفاده در اين پژوهش، توصيفي- تحليلي مي‌باشد. براي جمع آوري مفاهيم و تعاريف از مطالعات كتابخانه‌اي استفاده شده و براي تحليل، از عكس‌برداري ميداني، آرشيو تصاوير ميراث فرهنگي شهرستان دزفول و پرسشنامه بهره برده شده است.

The townscape plays a very important role in the lives of citizens as a crystallized aspect of the economic, political, social and cultural relations of cities. Unfortunately, today, townscapes are facing serious problems, which are often caused by the construction of new facades without consid-ering the coordination and coherence with the existing fa-cades in the context. The city of Dezful, under the influence of the construction of new facades in the historical context of the city, has created an unsightly visual complex. As the architecture of the past is gradually being removed from the image of cities. So much so that the values of past architec-ture are gradually being removed from the image of cities. Now, what is necessary in this situation is the existence of design documents and rules that have been collected from context and by using them, we can create coherent urban facades in our urban spaces. thus reducing as much as pos-sible heterogeneity and undesirable visual contradictions. One of the documents that is compiled regardi n g urban facades is the urban design guidelines that has been used in this research. The research method is desc r iptive-ana-lytical. The collection of concepts and definitions has been done through library studies and for analysis, field photog-raphy, archive of images of cultural heritage of Dezful city and questionnaire have been used.
