A review on the disease and prevalence of Bovine Viral Diarrhea Virus in Iran

بيماري اسهال ويروسي گاوان (BVD) در اكثر نقاط دنيا بومي شده و خسارت عمده اين بيماري اعم از درگيري دستگاه‌هاي مختلف بدن، كاهش توليد شير، مشكلات توليد مثلي مانند سقط جنين، كاهش وزن، كاهش رشد و تضعيف سيستم ايمني مي‌باشد. شيوع بالا و همچنين انتقال سريع بين دام‌ها از خصوصيات اين بيماري است كه اهميت كنترل آن را چند برابر كرده است. شرايط گاوداري‌ها، وضعيت جغرافيايي مناطق، وجود فاكتورهاي مستعدكننده‌ي ديگر از جمله وجود ديگر بيماري‌هاي ويروسي و باكتريايي در محل نگهداري دام‌ها و سياست مديريتي حاكم بر ميزان زايش و توليد شير همگي از عوامل مؤثر بر شيوع بيماري اسهال ويروسي گاوان است. در ايران مطالعات زيادي شيوع اين بيماري را در مناطق مختلف گزارش كرده‌اند. به‌طوري كه بيشترين شيوع اين بيماري به ترتيب در شهرهاي مشهد، البرز و كرمان گزارش شده است. ميانگين درصد شيوع بيماري اسهال ويروسي گاوان در ايران بنابر مطالعات انجام گرفته تا اواخر سال 1399، برابر با 47/37 درصد است كه شيوع و گستردگي فراوان اين بيماري را در سراسر كشور نشان مي‌دهد.

Bovine viral diarrhea (BVD) is an endemic disease in most parts of the world, and major damage of the disease, including reduces milk production, reproductive problems such as abortion, weight loss, growth loss and decreasing of immune system. High prevalence and rapid transmission among animals are characteristics of this disease that the importance of control of disease has increased. Conditions of farms, geographical location of regions and other risk factors, including the presence of other viral and bacterial diseases and management of reproduction and milk production influence on the prevalence of BVD in the cows. Many studies have reported the prevalence of this disease in different parts of Iran. The highest prevalence of this disease has been reported in Mashhad, Alborz and Kerman city, respectively. The average prevalence of BVD in Iran is 47.37% according to studies reported until the end of 1399 year. Results of studies indicate that the prevalence of this disease is higher throughout the Iran. Therefore importance of control and prevention of this disease is high in Iran.
