چكيده فارسي :
شهرهاي امروزي با تغييرات فرهنگي بارزي مواجه هستند كه از عوامل متعددي نشات گرفته است؛ يكي از اين عوامل، شكل شهر است كه بر رفتار مردم و با ثابت شدن اين رفتارها در طول زمان بر فرهنگ آن ها تاثيرگذار بوده است. در حقيقت ساختار و ظاهر شهرهاي كنوني با فرهنگ گذشته ايران تفاوت بارزي دارد كه اين تفاوت، در برخي موارد آثار واضحي را در مسائل فرهنگي دربرداشته است. هدف اين مقاله بررسي چگونگي تاثير شكل شهر بر فرهنگ در طول زمان است. فرهنگ به دو دسته مادي و غيرمادي تقسيم مي شود؛ اگر مواردي نظير سبك زندگي، ارتباطات، رسوم و به طور كلي فعاليت هاي مردم را كه ملموس هستند، به عنوان فرهنگ مادي به حساب آوريم، فرهنگ غيرمادي شامل چهار عنصر دروني زبان، ارزش ها، هنجارها و باورها مي شود. منظور از فرهنگ در اين پژوهش فرهنگ غيرمادي است. روش پژوهش آميخته و تركيبي از روش هاي كيفي و كمي اسنادي، ميداني و پيمايشي است. اين نوشتار عمدتاً با رويكرد آسيب شناسي فرهنگ نوشته شده است و با مقايسه زماني رفتارها و آداب شهري با پرسش از مردم (ساكنان منطقه 8 تهران) اين نتيجه حاصل شد كه بسياري از اعتقادات و رفتارها و واژگان به مرور زمان تحت تاثير شكل شهر قرار گرفته اند و دچار تغييرات شده اند. از سوي ديگر بر اساس يافته هاي ميداني و تهيه پرسشنامه از متخصصين حوزه شهرسازي در نهايت اين نتيجه حاصل شد كه به ترتيب زبان، هنجارها، ارزش ها و باورها از كالبد شهر تاثير مي پذيرند

Today's cities are experiencing significant cultural changes that stem from many factors. One of them is city form (city physical aspects) that impact on people behavior and then they form their culture. In fact, the structure and appearance of today's cities are markedly different from Iranian past culture that this difference, in some cases, has had a clear impact on cultural issues. The purpose of this paper is to examine how the shape of the city influences culture over time. Culture consists of two parts: material culture and spiritual one. If we consider material things such as lifestyle, communication and intimacy, customs and generally people's activities that are tangible and visible, as material culture, the spiritual culture (studied in this research) consists of 4 factors: beliefs, norms, values and language. The research method is a combination of qualitative and quantitative methods of documentary, field and survey (using questionnaire). Independent variables are city form elements such as paths, nodes, edges, landmarks and districts and dependent variables are the culture elements i.e.: beliefs, norms, values and language. This article is mainly written with a pathological approach to culture. By comparing time-consuming urban behaviors with people queries (residents of District 8 of Tehran) this was achieved that many beliefs, behaviors and vocabulary have been influenced by the city form over time. Based on field findings and interviews with urban planning experts. Finally, it was concluded that language, norms, values, and beliefs are influenced by the city form, respectively
