پس از فروپاشي رژيم بعث عراق اين كشور به دوراني گام نهاد كه مهم‌ترين ويژگي آن به قدرت رسيدن بازيگران داخلي جديد در ساختار سياسي است. با توجه به تغيرات پيش آمده در كشور عراق پس از سال 2003، شيعيان كه در طول تاريخ عراق در موضع ضعف قرار داشتند توانستند نفوذ قابل توجهي در ساختار دولت عراق به وجود آورند. هدف اصلي از انجام اين پژوهش عبارت است از بررسي روند مشاركت شيعيان عراق در ساختار قدرت سياسي اين كشور از 2003 تاكنون و تاثير آن بر نفوذ منطقه‌اي ايران است. سوال اصلي رساله اين است كه مشاركت شيعيان عراق در ساختار قدرت سياسي اين كشور از 2003 تاكنون چگونه بوده و تاثير آن بر نفوذ منطقه‌اي ايران تا چه اندازه حائز اهميت است؟ اين مقاله با روش توصيفي - تحليلي و براساس منابع كتابخانه‌اي نگاشته شده است. نتايج مقاله نشان مي دهد كه ساختار قدرت سياسي در عراق بعد از 2003 زمينه كنشگري شيعيان عراق را در كنار ساير گروه ها فراهم كرده است. شيعيان عراق از تاثير گذارترين گروه هاي سياسي در عرصه سياسي عراق خواهند بود. پيوند فرهنگي و مذهبي شيعيان ايران و عراق مي تواند ابزارهاي نرم نفوذ منطقه اي ايران را تسهيل نمايد.

After the collapse of the Ba'athist regime in Iraq, the country entered a period in which the most important feature is the rise to power of new domestic actors in the political structure. Due to the changes that have taken place in Iraq since 2003, the Shiites, who have been in a position of weakness throughout Iraq's history, have been able to exert significant influence on the structure of the Iraqi government. The main purpose of this study is to examine the trend of participation of Iraqi Shiites in the structure of political power in Iraq since 2003 and its impact on the influence of Iran's regions. The main question of the dissertation is what is the participation of Iraqi Shiites in the structure of political power in Iraq since 2003 and how important is its impact on the influence of Iran's regions? This article has been written by descriptive-analytical method and based on library sources. The results of the article show that the structure of political power in Iraq after 2003 has provided the ground for the activism of the Iraqi Shiites along with other groups. The Iraqi Shiites will be one of the most influential political groups in the Iraqi political arena. The cultural and religious bond of the Shiites of Iran and Iraq can facilitate the soft tools of Iran's regional influence
