فقه اسلامي براي استحكام دروني و تجديد بناي خود به عناصر و لوازمي وابسته است كه يكي از آنها ساختار منطقي و دسته بندي نظام يافته آن است. ساختاري كه بتواند دانشي با اين گستره را سازمان بخشد؛ جايگاه هر مسئله را مشخص نموده؛ دست يابي به مباحث آن را روان تر؛ و فهم مطالب آن را آسان ترنمايد. ساختار منتظمي كه با شبكه گسترش پذير خود، گزارههاي پيشين و پسين فقه را پذيرا باشد و با تحولات ابزارهاي نوين در ذخيره سازي و جستجوهاي متنوع ساده و پيشرفته و به خصوص در جستجوهايِ كارآمدِ موضوعي و شبكه اي، بكار آيد. سوال اصلي آن است كه براي دسته بندي نظام يافته و ساختار منطقي فقه با توقعات يادشده، چه راهكار مناسبي وجود دارد؟ دراين مقاله، دسته‌بندي علم فقه با نگاهي متفاوت به اصطلاح نامه فقه به عنوان شيوه اي مناسب براي تنظيم درست و كمك به دسته‌بندي منطقي علم فقه بررسي مي شود.
