Investigating the place and cultural components of designing urban spaces suitable for women Using the place model of Canter and Stuart Hall cultural theory

زنان براي حضور و فعاليت در فضاهاي شهري، نيازهاي خاصي دارند. هدف اصلي پژوهش، شناخت و ارائه ابعاد و مؤلفه­ هاي مكاني و فرهنگي فضاهاي شهري متناسب با طراحي اين فضاها براي حضور و فعاليت زنان در آن­هاست. پژوهش حاضر از نوع بنيادي و از نظر هدف، توصيفي– تحليلي و از نظر منطق اجراي پژوهش، قياسي مي‌باشد. سه مولفه پيشنهادي كانتر مشتمل بر معني (مصونيت زنان)، عملكرد (بالابردن سطح حضور زنان) و كالبد (فضاي امن)، صرف‌نظر از ايجاد موانع و آسيب‌هاي اجتماعي، محدوديت‌هايي را براي زنان ايجاد كرده است و ايجاد فضاهاي شهري مناسب و پاسخگو به نيازهاي زنان و روابط بين محيط و فعاليت‌هاي آن‌ها، فضاي شهري را تحت تأثير قرار مي‌دهد. در مدل استورت هال "معنا" اساس هر گونه رويداد، پديده و مكان بوده و اين نوع معنا را با فرهنگ يكي مي‌داند. توجه به معيارهاي مؤثر بر ميزان فعاليت زنان و ايجاد فضاي شهري متناسب با فعاليت‌هاي موجود در آن، ميزان حضور در فضاهاي شهري و معنادهي به كالبد با تقويت حس مكان، نحوه عملكرد را نيز براي زنان در آن مكان مهيا مي‌سازد.

Women have special needs for the presence and activity in urban spaces. The main purpose of research is to identify and present the spatial and cultural dimensions and components of urban spaces in accordance with the design of these spaces for the presence and activity of women in them. This article is a fundamental research and in terms of purpose is a descriptive-analytical one and in terms of the logic of conducting research is deductive. The three proposed components of the Canter, including meaning (women's immunity), function (raising the level of women's presence) and physical body (safe space), regardless of creating social barriers and harms, have created limitations for women; an‎d creating appropriate urban spaces that respond to the needs of women and the relationship between the environment and their activities, affects the urban space. In the Stuart Hall model, "meaning" has been the basis of any event, phenomenon, or place and he equates this kind of meaning with culture. Paying attention to the effective criteria on the level of women's activity and creating an urban space in accordance with the activities in it, the amount of presence in urban spaces and sense giving to the physical body by strengthening the sense of place, also provides a way for women to function in that place.
