چكيده
اين مقال شرح و تفسيري است بر كلام امام محمدباقر عليه السلام در توصيه به جابربن يزيد جعفي در باب اوصاف شيعيان واقعي. در اين فقره، آن حضرت مي‌فرمايد: «وَتَحَرَّزْ مِنْ إِبْلِيسَ بِالْخَوْفِ الصَّادِقِ، وَإِيَّاكَ وَالرَّجَاءَ الْكَاذِبَ فَإِنَّهُ يُوقِعُكَ فِي الْخَوْفِ الصَّادِقِ»؛ با ترس راستين از شيطان بپرهيز و مبادا اميدي دروغين ببندي، كه گرفتار هراس واقعي مي‌شوي.
يكي از اوصاف شيعيان واقعي خوف و رجاء صادق است؛ خوف حالتي ادراكي و انفعالي در انسان است كه آفرينش آن حكمتي دارد. اين ترس‌ها ناشي از گناه خود انسان است، نه ترس از خداي متعال؛ چرا كه خوف از عذاب الهي پايين‌ترين مرتبه خوف مؤمنان است. مؤمنان بر حسب مراتب ايمان و معرفتشان، خوف‌هاي ديگري هم دارند. ماننند خوف از خوار شدن در چشم خدا و محروم شدن از عنايات الهي، مثل «وَلاَيَنظُرُ إِلَيْهِمْ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ» (آل‌عمران: 77). يكي از كاركردهاي خوف از ضررهاي اخروي اين است كه انسان را در مقابل شيطان ايمن مي‌كند. اين مقال، به تفصيل پيرامون انواع خوف و رجاء و تفاوت آن با جبن بيان مي‌كند.

This paper is a commentary on the advices of Imam Mohammad Bagher (PBUH) to Jabir b. Yazid al-Ju’fi, one of his noble companions, regarding the characteristics of the real Shiites. His holiness says, "and beware of the devil in sincere fear, and beware of false please, for it makes you fall into true fear." One of the characteristics of real Shiites is fear and sincere hope. Fear is a perceptual and passive state in human beings whose creation has a philosophy. These fears stem from man's own sin, not the fear of God Almighty, since the fear of divine punishment is the lowest level of fear of the believers. Depending on the level of faith and knowledge, believers have other fears such as the fear of humiliation before God and deprivation of divine blessings, as says, "and Allah will not look at them on the Day of Resurrection". One of the functions of the fear of the hereafter is protecting man from the Devil. This paper examines in detail the types of fear and hope and its difference with cowardice.
