هم‌گرايي شهري-روستايي مرتبط با رويكردهاي جمعيت‌شناختي در ايران

Urban – Rural Convergence of Demographic Attitudes

تحقيق حاضر به بررسي الگوها و تعيين كننده هاي همگرايي شهري- روستايي مرتبط با رويكردهاي جمعيت شناختي مي پردازد. پرسش كليدي تحقيق و ضرورت و اهميت مطالعه آن ريشه در اين واقعيت دارد كه از يكسو جهان معاصر شاهد تحولات بنيادين در جهتگيريهاي افراد نسبت به ارزشهاي جامعه و خانواده است و از سوي ديگر تكنولوژي پيشرفته ارتباطي و رسانه اي با ايجاد "جامعه جهاني" و "دهكده جهاني" سبب شده است تا اين قبيل تغييرات ارزشي و نگرشي همه جوامع و افراد در سرتاسر جهان را دربرگيرد. آيا اين اصل بر نقاط شهري و روستايي نيز صدق مي كند: آيا روستاييان و شهرنشينان نيز به يك نوع همگرايي و همسويي رسيده اند و رويكردهاي جمعيت شناختي آنان كمابيش همانند و مشابه همديگر است؟نتايج اين تحقيق نشان داده است كه منطبق با "فرآيند جهاني شدن" منبعث از پيشرفت هاي تكنولوژيك در عرصه هاي ارتباطي و رسانه اي، شهرها و روستاها بطور چشمگيري با تغييرات بنيادين در جهت گيري هاي افراد نسبت به ارزشهاي جامعه و خانواده مواجه شده اند بطوريكه رويكردهاي روستاييان و شهرنشينان نسبت به مولفه هاي جمعيت شناختي مانند الگوهاي ازدواج، فرزندآوري، طلاق و مهاجرت بيشتر به سوي يك نوع همسويي و همگرايي سوق پيدا كرده است. علاوه براين، نتايج اين تحقيق بر اين نكته اساسي صحه مي گذارد كه لازم است تا نقش و تاثيرات ساير عوامل تعيين كننده مانند متغير سن و تحصيلات نيز مورد توجه و مطالعه قرار گيرد تا زمينه مطلوب براي شناخت هرچه بهتر و بيشتر همگرايي شهري-روستايي مرتبط با رويكردهاي جمعيت شناختي فراهم گردد.

This paper focuses on the patterns and determinants of the urban-rural convergence associated with demographic attitudes. The key research question lies in the fact that, on the one hand, the contemporary world has witnessed substantial changes in the individuals’ orientations towards the values of society and family. On the other hand, the expectacular achievements in communications and media technologies have created the emerging phenomenon of the ‘world society’ and ‘global village’ so that such changes in the individuals’ orientations towards the values of society and family have been widespread throughout the world. Does this apply to the urban and rural places, leading to the convergence between rural and urban residents in terms of demographic attitudes? The results of this study have supported the bottomline conclusion that in accordance with the globalizition process arising from revolutionary achievements in communications and media technologies, both urban and rural areas are experiencing substantial changes in individuals’ orientations and attitudes towards the values of society and family. This suggests that the rural and urban residents’ demographic attitudes tend to become increasingly more convergent. Furthermore, the results of this study confirm that the role of such main determinants as age and education needs to be taken into account in order to shed further lights on the urban-rural convergence associated with demographic attitudes.
