بررسي و نقد كتاب آموزش زبان ژاپني گِنكي (شاداب، بانشاط)

A Critical Review on the Book “Genki” (Lively, Vivacious)

هدف از نگارش اين مقاله، معرفي و بررسي كتاب دو­ جلدي آموزش مقدماتي زبان ژاپني باعنوان «گِنكي» است كه نخستين بار در سال 1999 ميلادي منتشر و در سال­هاي 2011 و 2020 تجديد چاپ شده است. كتاب مذكور، به­ويژه در سال­هاي اخير در بسياري از مراكز دانشگاهي و غير­دانشگاهي آموزش زبان ژاپني، در سراسر دنيا مورد استفاده قرار گرفته است. در جستار حاضر تلاش شده علاوه بر معرفي اثر، نقاط ضعف و قوت آن آشكار گردد. بررسي و نقد آن با نگاهي به شاخص­هاي ارزيابي رضي (1388) و از منظر صوري، ساختاري و محتوايي انجام شده است. نتايجي كه از واكاوي اين اثر حاصل گرديد، نشان داد «گنكي» كه حاصل همكاري گروهي از متخصصان و اساتيد آموزش زبان ژاپني است، داراي نقاط قوت فراواني است، اما در كنار اين نقاط قوت، نقايص و نقاط ضعفي نيز در آن ديده مي­شود كه در صورت رفع آنها در چاپ­هاي بعدي، اين ظرفيت را دارد كه به عنوان منبعي نسبتاَ قابل اتكا، نظر مثبت بسياري از مدرسان زبان ژاپني و زبان­آموزان به­ويژه آن گروه از زبان­آموزاني كه تمايل دارند زبان ژاپني را مستقل از كلاس و به صورت خود­آموز بياموزند، به خود جلب كند.

This paper is an introduction and a critical review of the book “Genki” a two-volume book for elementary education of the Japanese language which was first published in 1999 and republished in 2011 and 2020. The book has been used in many universities and language teaching centers around the world, especially in recent years. This study is an attempt to identify the strengths and weaknesses of this textbook. This critical assessment is carried out from visual and content-based aspects using Razi’s (2009) evaluation criteria. The overall conclusion of this study showed that “Genki”, which is the result of a collaboration between a group of Japanese language teaching professionals and teachers, has many strengths and advantages, but while having the strengths, the book suffers from a few shortcomings that if eliminated in future editions, it can be used as a relatively reliable educational source that has the potential to attract the positive attention of many Japanese language teachers and students, especially those who choose to study English independently on a self-study basis.
