ازخودبيگانگي، پديده‌اي است به قدمت تاريخ بشر كه معناي گسترده‌اي دارد. دامنۀ مفهوم اين پديده از غربت رمانتيك كه حاصل دلتنگي و بازگشت به كودكي است، آغاز گشته و تا بيگانگي روان‌شناختي كه نتيجۀ فرار از خويشتن به دنبال شرايط سياسي و اجتماعي است، امتداد مي‌يابد. اين پديده در برخي دوره‌ها به دلايل متعددي فزوني يافته است. در عصر معاصر، ملت الجزاير به دليل حضور استعمار و بحران‌هاي اقتصادي و اجتماعي ناشي از آن، گرفتار اين پديده شده‌اند. عبد الحميد بن هدوقه، رمان نويس الجزايري كه پيامدهاي حضور استعمار در اين دوره را احساس كرده، به انعكاس بيگانگي در آثار خود پرداخته است. اين پژوهش با تكيه بر روش توصيفي- تحليلي به دنبال آن است تا پديدۀ ازخودبيگانگي ذاتي و فرهنگي را با تكيه بر نظريۀ از خود بيگانگي ملوين سيمن در رمان «غداً يوم جديد» مورد بررسي قرار دهد. يافته‌هاي پژوهش حاكي از آن است كه نويسنده توانسته نمودهاي از خودبيگانگي را كه دستاورد حضور استعمار و نتيجه برخي سنت هاي قديمي است در قالب شخصيت هاي داستان ارائه دهد و ضمن نقد اين پديده تلاش نموده راه‌هايي نظير بالا بردن روحيه نقد در شرايط موجود جامعه و ارزش گذاري به هويت و فرهنگ خودي را براي مقابله با آن پيشنهاد دهد.

Alienation is a phenomenon dating back to human history that has a broad meaning. The concept of this phenomenon starts from romantic homelessness, which is the result of nostalgia and return to childhood, and extends to psychological alienation, which is the result of escaping from the pursuit of political and social conditions. This phenomenon has increased in some periods for various reasons. In the contemporary era, the Algerian people have been affected by this phenomenon due to the presence of colonialism and the resulting economic and social crises. The Algerian novelist Abdelhamid ben Hadouga, who felt the consequences of the presence of colonialism in this period, reflected alienation in his works. Relying on a descriptive-analytical method, this research seeks to investigate the phenomenon of intrinsic and cultural alienation based on Melvin Seaman's theory of alienation in the novel "The New Day Food". Findings of the research indicate that the author has been able to present a manifestation of alienation that is the result of the presence of colonialism and the result of some old traditions in the form of story characters and while criticizing this phenomenon has tried Suggest your own identity and culture to deal with it.
