بررسي تطبيقي ويژگي‌هاي هنري و تاريخي شش تيغ سلطنتي محفوظ در خزانۀ جواهرات ملي ايران

A Comparative Study on the Artistic and Historical Features of Six Royal Blades, Preserved at the Treasury of National Jewels, Iran

خزاين سرزمين ايران، هرگاه استقلال و دولتي قوي داشته، مالامال از جواهر، نفايس و سكه بوده است. حتي در دوره هاي ضعف و حاكمان بي كفايت نيز آن قدر از اين قبيل داشته اند كه چشم ناظران و سياحان خارجي را خيره كند و ايشان را به تحسين و اعجاب وادارد. اين ثروت و دارايي دربارهاي ايران، همواره به منزلۀ قدرت و پشتوانه اي براي كشور محسوب مي شده است، از اين رو در حفظ و صيانت آن كوشش مي كرده اند. خزانۀ جواهرات ملي ايران، نمايشگاهي از جواهرات درخشاني است كه در طول ادوار مختلف تاريخ به خصوص دورۀ قاجار، جمع آوري شده اند و هر بيننده اي را مجذوب شكوه و زيبايي خود مي كند. از نفيس ترين اشيايي كه در اين خزانه به چشم مي خورند، شمشيرهاي مرصع به جواهراتي هستند كه هر كدام، جذابيت شگفت آوري دارند. مقالۀ حاضر كه به روش توصيفي- تحليلي و گردآوري اطلاعات آن به شيوۀ كتابخانه اي و مشاهدۀ مستقيم آثار خزانه جواهرات ملي ايران انجام گرفته است، به بررسي 6 نمونه از اين شمشيرها پرداخته است. اين تحقيق در تلاش است ويژگي هاي هنري و نمادين اين شمشيرها را بررسي نموده و به اين پرسش پاسخ دهد كه آيا اين شمشيرهاي آراسته و تجملي، جنبۀ كاربرد در ميدان جنگ داشته اند يا تنها سمبلي براي نشان دادن قدرت و شكوه شاهان و قدرتمندان بوده اند؟ نتايج اين پژوهش نشان مي دهد كه شمشيرهاي اين دوره گذشته از نفاست و ارزش هاي فوق العادۀ مادي كه به دست صنعتگران ساخته و پرداخته مي شد، برخوردار از نشانه هاي رمزي و آييني و نيز مرتبط با اعداد و ادعيه اي مي باشند كه از باورها و اعتقادات مذهبي و به خصوص اعتقادات شيعي برگرفته شده اند.

Autonomy and authority are two factors in Iran that has brought wealth and prosperity to the governmental treasury with a great amount of jewels, precious stones and coins in different periods. Even at the time of weak and incompetent rulers, such jewels and coins were to such an extent that they amazed viewers and travelers having them admire and feel astonished. Such wealth and property in the Iranian courts have always accounted for authority, power and financial backing of the state. Hence, the Iranian have attempted to preserve and protect their treasures. The Treasury of National Jewels of Iran is an exhibition of priceless, sparkling jewels collected during different eras, particularly the Qajar dynasty, attracting any viewer’s eyes by its glory and beauty. The most exquisite objects in this treasury include swords studded with jewels each with surprising attractiveness. The present research is carried out by using library sources and through observing the real objects. It aims to examine six swords and attempts to study their artistic and symbolic features as well as to answer the following question: Were these swords with such decorated and aristocratic features been used in battles or they have just been a symbol of power and glory of rulers and their kingship? The results indicate that the swords of this era are of extraordinary value and preciousness made by the craftsmen as well as enjoying ritual symbols relating invocations and prayers all derived from the religious beliefs, particularly those of the Shiites.
