ديدگاه هر انديشمند در مورد انسان تعيين كننده چگونگي نگرش او به همه مباحث علوم انساني است. ماكياولي به عنوان يكي از پايه‌گذاران فلسفه سياسي جديد ديدگاه‌هاي خاصي دارد كه باعث شهرت او در عالم سياست شده است. ريشه ديدگاه‌هاي سياسي ماكياولي را بايد در نگاه خاص او به انسان جستجو كرد. مقاله پيشرو با شيوه توصيفي-تحليلي و بكارگيري روش كتابخانه‌اي در صدد است نگاه منفي ماكياولي و همچنين نگاه قرآن به انسان را مورد بررسي قرار داده و حتي المقدور نتايج و لوازم آن را از بعد تربيتي بكاود. در نگرش اخلاقي به بررسي ريشه‌ها و علل تقويت صفات منفي و همچنين نحوه از بين بردن آنها پرداخته مي‌شود. اگر چه قرآن كريم در ذكر ابعاد منفي وجود انسان رهيافتي ارشادي و انتقادي دارد اما وجود برخي از آنها را لازمه طبيعت انسان دانسته است از اين رو علاوه بر نگرش اخلاقي به اين مساله، بايد لوازم تربيتي وجود صفات منفي در انسان را ناديده نگرفت.
