طرح كلي دين اسلام يكي از دغدغه هاي آيت الله خامنه اي است و در آثار مختلف به تبيين اين مهم پرداخته اند. ايشان بر پايه كتاب و سنت، سعي كرده است تا مهم ترين معارف اسلام را در ساختاري هندسي و هماهنگ طبقه بندي كند تا از اين طريق بتواند اسلام را به عنوان طرح و مسلكي اجتماعي داراي اصولي منسجم و يك آهنگ و ناظر به زندگي جمعي انسان ها تبيين كند و از اين طريق زمينه براي كشف نظريه اسلام براي جامعه و حكومت اسلامي و هويت بخشي به مسلمين فراهم شود. ايشان با استناد به قرآن كريم و سيره معصومين؟عهم؟، توحيد را محور طرح كلي دين مي داند كه در اطراف آن شبكه اي از مفاهيم و معارف زندگي ساز در سه عرصه جهان بيني، انسان شناسي و خط مشي اجتماعي شكل مي گيرد.

The outline of the religion of Islam is one of Imam Khamenei Concerns and he has explained this important issue in his various works. Based on holy Quran and Tradition, he has tried to classify the most important teachings of Islam in a geometric and harmonious structure in order to be able to explain Islam as a social design and religion with coherent principles and overseeing the collective life of human beings and in this way, to prepare the background for discovering the theory of Islam for management of Islamic society and giving identification to Muslims. Referring to the Holy Quran and Infallible Imams Lifestyle, he considers monotheism to be the axis of religion outline, around which a network of life-giving concepts and teachings is formed in three areas: worldview, anthropology and social policy.
