بررسي ديدگاه مديران كتابخانه‌هاي مركزي دانشگاه هاي دولتي پيرامون دسترسي كاربران به پايان نامه ها

Investigating the Viewpoints of Central Libraries' Managers of Governmental Universities about Users' Access to dissertations

هدف هدف پژوهش حاضر شناخت ديدگاه مديران كتابخانه هاي مركزي دانشگاه هاي دولتي زير نظر دو وزارت خانه علوم، تحقيقات و فناوري و بهداشت، درمان و آموزش پزشكي پيرامون دسترسي كاربران به پايان-نامه ها است. روش اين پژوهش از نظر هدف كاربردي و به لحاظ روش از نوع پيمايش توصيفي است. جامعه پژوهش شامل تمامي مديران كتابخانه هاي مركزي دانشگاه هاي دولتي زير نظر دو وزارت خانه علوم، تحقيقات و فناوري و بهداشت، درمان و آموزش پزشكي بود. با توجه به شمار محدود اعضاي جامعه، در اين پژوهش از نمونه گيري استفاده نشده است. ابزار گردآوري داده ها پرسشنامه محقق ساخته بود. يافته ها يافته ها نشان داد كه به طور كلي مديران كتابخانه هاي مركزي دانشگاه ها ديدگاه هاي متفاوتي در مورد دسترسي به پايان نامه ها دارند. ديدگاه مديران در مورد سطوح دسترسي به پايان نامه براي كاربران داخل و خارج دانشگاه متفاوت بود به طوري كه در مورد كاربران داخل دانشگاه آنان بيشتر با دسترسي به متن كامل و در مورد كاربران خارج از دانشگاه نيز بيشتر با دسترسي به اطلاعات كتابشناختي موافق هستند. همچنين آنان با دسترسي بخش هايي از پايان نامه ها (نه متن كامل) در هردو شكل چاپي و الكترونيكي و در قبال پرداخت هزينه موافق ترند. مديران مورد بررسي از ميان قالب هاي گوناگون نسخه الكترونيك با قالب «پي.دي.اف.» موافق بودند. اصالت عليرغم اهميت شناخت نگرش مديران كتابخانه ها نسبت به تعيين خط مشي و سياست دسترس پذير نمودن پايان نامه ها براي كاربران كتابخانه، تا كنون اين مهم بررسي نشده است. در اين مقاله به اين مهم پرداخته شده است

Objective: The purpose of the present study is to identify the viewpoints of central libraries'' managers of governmental universities which are supervised by two ministries of Science, Research and Technology and Health and Medical Education regarding users'' access to dissertations. Methodology: As a descriptive survey, all Managers of the central libraries of governmental universities which are supervised by two ministries of Science, Research and Technology and Health and Medical Education were participated in the study. Considering limited number of population members, sampling was not used in this study. The data gathering tool was a researcher-made questionnaire. Findings: The findings showed that central libraries'' managers of the universities have different viewpoints on access to dissertations. The managers'' points of view about the levels of access to the dissertation are different for users within or outside the university campus, so that they think that it''s better users have access to the full text within the university, and they have access to only bibliographic information outside the university. In addition, they agree with accessing to parts of the dissertations (not full text) in both printed and/or electronic version on charge. Managers were agreed with "PDF" format among different electronic versions. . Originality: Despite the importance of recognizing the attitude of library managers towards determining the policy of making dissertations available to library users, this issue has not been studied till now. This article addresses this important issue.
