The Impact of the Discourses of Aristotle, Naṣīr al-Dīn al- Ṭūsī, and Mullā Ṣadrā on Gender Inequalities

تأثير زبان و گفتمان در ايجاد نابرابري هاي جنسيتي موضوعي قابل توجه و كنكاش است كه لازم است بيش از پيش بدان پرداخته شود. در اين ميان نقش انديشمندان قطعاً تأثيرگذارتر و بسا حساس تر است؛ چرا كه عملاً فرهنگ، آداب و رسوم و قوانين با الهام از همين انديشه ها شكل مي گيرد، گسترش مي يابد و پايدار مي شود. پس لازم است با بررسي مداوم انديشه ها و قرار دادن آنها در بوته ي نقد به پالايش آنها همت گماشت. روش هاي تحليل انتقادي گفتمان در اين راستا ابزارهايي مؤثر و كارگشايند كه در به دست آوردن تحليلي علمي از اين متون پژوهشگر را ياري مي كنند. اين مقاله در نظر دارد با نقد و تحليل انديشه هاي ارسطو، خواجه نصيرالدين طوسي و ملاصدرا در مورد زنان، به بيان اين نكته بپردازد كه زبان ما و نوع گفتماني كه مجموعه اي مي بريم در ايجاد تغييرات در جهان و شكل يابي هويت افراد تأثير گذار است؛ گفتماني كه در سخنان برخي از فيلسوفان ظهور يافته و پايه گذار بسياري از نابرابري هاي جنسيتي موجود در جهان شده است.

The influence of language and discourse in creating gender inequalities is a significant issue that needs to be considered all the more. Here, the role of thinkers is certainly more influential and perhaps more sensitive. Because in practice, culture, customs and laws are formed, expanded and sustained by inspiring from their ideas. Therefore, it is necessary to refine the ideas by constantly examining them and exposing them to criticism. In this regard, critical discourse analysis methods are effective and practical tools that can help the researcher to obtain a scientific analysis of these texts. By critiquing and analyzing the ideas of Aristotle, Naṣīr al-Dīn al-Ṭūsī, and Mullā Ṣadrā about women, this article intends to state that our language and the kind of discourse we use are effective in changing the world and shaping the identity of individuals, a discourse that has emerged in the words of some philosophers and has led to many of the gender inequalities in the world.
