رابطه بين بيش‌اعتمادي مديران و مخارج پژوهش و توسعه با تأكيد بر معاملات با اشخاص وابسته در شركتهاي دارويي پذيرفته شده در بورس اوراق بهادار تهران

Relationship between Overconfidence of Managers and Research and Development Spending with Emphasis on Related Party Transactions in Pharmaceutical Companies Listed on the Tehran Stock Exchange1

نياز به دارو و خدمات درماني از جمله نيازهاي اساسي در جوامع امروزي است. به منظور برآوردن اين نيازها و تامين بودجه مورد نظر، شركت ها موظف به سرمايه گذاري در بخش تحقيق و توسعه مي باشند كه تخصيص و تصميم گيري در مورد اين منابع و بودجه بندي ها براي رسيدن به اهداف موردنظر از جمله وظايف مديران مي باشد و همچنين معاملات با اشخاص وابسته به دليل سياست ها و ديدگاه هاي خاص مي توانند در اتخاذ تصميمات تحقيق و توسعه و بيش اعتمادي مديران اثرگذار باشند. اين پژوهش از نظر هدف كاربردي و از نظر ماهيت، توصيفي- همبستگي است. به منظور دستيابي به هدف پژوهش، تعداد 21 شركت دارويي از ميان شركت هاي پذيرفته شده در بورس اوراق بهادار تهران طي سال هاي 1389تا 1397 به عنوان نمونه انتخاب و براي آزمون فرضيه هاي پژوهش، از الگوي رگرسيون چند متغيره و به منظور برازش الگوي رگرسيون، از روش حداقل مربعات تعميم يافته استفاده گرديد. يافته هاي پژوهش حاكي از آن است كه بيش اعتمادي مديران و مخارج تحقيق و توسعه داراي رابطه مثبت و معنادار هستند و معاملات با اشخاص وابسته سبب تضعيف رابطه بين بيش اعتمادي مديران و مخارج تحقيق و توسعه مي شود. يافته هاي پژوهش نشان مي دهد كه با توجه به اينكه دارو و درمان در جوامع امروزي داراي نقش به سزايي هستند، وجود مديران بيش اعتماد سبب تخصيص بودجه بيشتري به مخارج تحقيق و توسعه مي شود و انگيزه سرمايه گذاري در هزينه هاي تحقيق و توسعه به واسطه وجود معاملات با اشخاص وابسته تا حدي كاهش مي يابد كه مي تواند در پياده سازي اين امور اثرگذار باشد.

The need for medicine and medical services is one of the basic needs in today's society. In order to meet these needs and provide the desired budget, companies are required to invest in research and development, which allocation and decision on these resources and budgets to achieve the desired goals are among the duties of managers and also dealing with affiliates because of specific policies and perspectives can influence research and development decisions and managers' distrust. This study is an applied descriptive correlational study. In order to achieve the goal of the research, 21 pharmaceutical companies were selected from the companies listed on the Tehran Stock Exchange from 2010 to 2018. Multivariate regression model was used to test the research hypotheses and generalized least squares method was used for fitting the regression model. The findings suggest that there was a positive and significant relationship between overconfidence of managers and research and development spending. Related party transactions weaken the relationship between overconfidence of managers and research and development spending. The findings of the present study showed that due to the fact that medicine and treatment play an important role in today's societies, the existence of overconfident managers leads to allocate more budget to research and development spending. The incentive to investing in research and development spending, is reduced to such an extent through related party transactions that it can be effective in implementing these tasks.
