دربارۀ آزمايشگاه ساخت رقومي معرفي «آزمايشگاه جامع علوم كاربردي» دانشگاه هنر

On Digital Manufacturing Laboratory Introducing the Comprehensive Laboratory of Applied Sciences of the University of Art

استفاده از فناوري هاي ساخت رقومي (ديجيتال) در آموزش معماري يك پديده متاخر و به سرعت در حال توسعه است. «آزمايشگاه هاي ساخت رقومي» كه تا چند سال پيش از اين در برنامه هاي جاري آموزش معماري بسيار نادر بودند، امروز به پديده اي رايج در مدارس معماري بدل گشته اند. با وجود آن كه دو مورد از اولين كاربردهاي تجربي ساخت رقومي شامل «نمونه سازي اوليه» و «مدل سازي،» در همكاري با آزمايشگاههاي موجود در دانشكده هاي مهندسي مكانيك شكل گرفته اند؛ از اواخر دهه ،1990نوع جديدي از آزمايشگاهها در برخي دانشكده هاي معماري ظهور كردند. اينگونه فضاها در ابتدا «آزمايشگاههاي نمونه سازي سريع» ناميده مي شدند، و بعدتر از آنها به عنوان «آزمايشگاههاي ساخت رقومي» نام برده ميشود. با توجه به اقبال و رشد روزافزون نسل جديد آزمايشگاه ها در دانشكده هاي معماري، و لزوم آشنايي و ترويج اين گونه از فضاهاي آموزشي فناورانه، و به منظور همسويي با نيازهاي رو به رشد و در حال تغيير صنعت ساخت، اين مقاله به معرفي «آزمايشگاه جامع علوم كاربردي» در دانشكدۀ معماري و شهرسازي دانشگاه هنر پرداخته است

Benefiting digital fabrication technologies in architectural education is a recent and rapidly evolving phenomenon. Digital fabrication labs not, common in standard architectural education curriculums until recently, are nowadays widespread in architectural schools. Although the first two experimental applications of digital fabrication, including ”prototyping“ and ”modeling“, have been developed exclusively in laboratories that existed in the faculties of mechanical engineering, since the late 1990s, a new type of laboratory has been established and dedicated to these activities in most of the world-leading architectural schools. These laboratories were called ”Rapid Prototyping Laboratories“ at first and then renamed to ”Digital Fabrication Laboratories“. Due to the growing popularity of the new generation of laboratories in the faculties of architecture, and the need to familiarize and promote these technological and educational environments, considering the growing and evolving needs of the construction industry, this article introduces ”Comprehensive Laboratory of Applied Sciences“ in the Faculty of Architecture and Urban Design at the Tehran University of Art.
