عاشق فداكار يا بورژواي خائن؛ خوانشي ديگر از رمان «چشم‌هايش» و شخصيت «فرنگيس»

رمان چشم‌هايش، اثر معروف بزرگ علوي، يكي از مهم‌ترين رمان‌هاي فارسي است كه به روابط عاشقانه «ماكان» و «فرنگيس» و فعاليت سياسي آن‌ها در عصر رضاشاه مي‌پردازد. در اين رمان، فرنگيس، علي‌رغم بورژوا بودن،زني عاشق و فداكار است كه با ايثار بزرگ خود، استاد ماكان را از مرگ حتمي نجات مي‌دهد. اين موضوع، از همان زمان انتشار، منتقدان وابسته به جريان چپ را به انتقاد از اين رمان و بعدها ساير منتقدان را به تحسين آن واداشته است. اين مقاله مي‌كوشد تا با روشي توصيفي- تحليلي و با تكيه بر اصل «عدم قطعيت معني» و «امكان تفاسير جديد از متون ادبي» در نظريه‌هاي ادبي‌اي مانند «هرمنوتيك» و «پساساختارگرايي»، خوانشي نو از اين رمان به‌دست دهد و به قرائتي تازه از آن دست يابد. قرائتي كه در نقطه مقابل معناي ظاهري رمان و قرائت پذيرفته‌شده از آن در ميان منتقدان قرار مي‌گيرد و فرنگيس را انقلابي متزلزلي معرفي مي‌كند كه در دشوارترين لحظات انقلاب، به استاد ماكان و نهضت خيانت مي‌كند و به صف دشمنان انقلاب مي‌پيوندد. نتيجه پژوهش نشان مي‌دهد كه رمان چشم‌هايش برخلاف معناي ظاهري‌اش، كه به انتقاد شديد منتقدان چپ منجر شده، در باطن، به تئوري انقلاب در مكتب ماركسيسم وفادار است. به‌زعم ما نشانه‌هاي درون‌متني فراواني در اين رمان وجود دارد كه با تكيه بر آن‌ها مي‌توان خوانش جديدي از آن را كه متناسب با تئوري ماركسيسم در باب انقلاب است ارائه كرد.

The novel Her Eyes, the famous work of Bozorg Alavi, is one of the most important Persian novels that deals with the romantic relations between "Mak@n" and "Farangis" and their political activity in the era of Reza Shah. In this novel, Farangis, despite being a bourgeois, is a revolutionary and devoted woman who saves Master Makan from certain death with her great self-sacrifice.This reading, since its publication, has led left-wing critics to criticize the novel and later to praise it.This article tries to give a new reading of this novel by relying on the principle of "meaning uncertainty" and "the possibility of new interpretations of literary texts" in literary theories such as "hermeneutics" and "poststructuralism" and achieve a new reading of it.A reading that contrasts with the official reading of this novel and introduces Farangis as a shaky revolutionary who, in the most difficult moments of the revolution, betrays Master Makan and the movement and joins the ranks of the enemies of the revolution.The result of the research shows that the novel of Her Eyes, contrary to its apparent meaning, which has led to severe criticism from leftist critics, is inherently faithful to the theory of revolution in the school of Marxism.In our opinion, there are many in-text cues in this novel, on the basis of which a new reading of it can be offered, which is in line with Marxism's theory of revolution.
