The Impact of China's Foreign Policy on the National Security of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the Persian Gulf Region

هدف پژوهش حاضر بررسي سياست خارجي چين بر امنيت ملي جمهوري اسلامي ايران در منطقه خليج فارس است. در همين راستا سؤالي كه مطرح مي­شود اين است: سياست خارجي چين از چه جهاتي مي­تواند امنيت ملي جمهوري اسلامي ايران را تحت تأثير قرار دهد؟ يافته­ها نشان دهنده آن است كه سياست خارجي چين در منطقه خليج فارس، تحت تأثير چشم انداز سياسي و اقتصادي اين كشور براي مقابله با هژموني امريكا است. براي نيل به اين هدف، كسب بازارهاي انرژي و تجاري بين المللي از جمله منطقه خليج فارس حائز اهميت است. پيوستن ايران به سازمان همكاري شانگهاي، مقابله با تهديدات تروريستي در منطقه خليج فارس، حمايت از محور مقاومت از جمله در سوريه، بخش مهمي از تأثيرات همسويي سياست خارجي چين با ايران در منطقه خليج فارس است. تعامل سياست خارجي ايران و چين از حيث نهادگرايي در قالب نهاد كشورهاي عضو همكاري شانگهاي قابل توجه است. روش مطالعه حاضر، توصيفي و تحليلي و چارچوب نظري پژوهش رويكرد امنيت مشاركتي است.

The purpose of this study is to examine China's foreign policy on the national security of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the Persian Gulf region. In this regard, the question that arises is: In what ways can China's foreign policy affect the national security of the Islamic Republic of Iran? The findings show that China's foreign policy in the Persian Gulf region is influenced by its political and economic prospects for countering US hegemony. To achieve this goal, gaining international energy and trade markets, including the Persian Gulf region, is important. Iran's accession to the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, countering terrorist threats in the Persian Gulf region, supporting the axis of resistance, including in Syria, are an important part of the effects of China's foreign policy alignment with Iran in the Persian Gulf region. The foreign policy interaction between Iran and China in terms of institutionalism in the form of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization is significant. The method of the present study is descriptive and analytical and the theoretical framework of the research is the participatory security approach.
