اميد به آمدن منجي انسان­ها از انواع گرفتاري­هاي بشري، مورد آرزوي ديرينه انسان، در تمام زمان­ها و مكان­ها و با هر فرهنگ و كيشي بوده­است. تا آن‌جا كه حضرات معصومين:، بر انتظار براي تشكيل جامعه مهدوي تأكيد داشته­اند. انتظار در مفهوم كلي آماده ­سازي فردي و اجتماعي براي زمينه ­ساز انقلاب جهاني منجي عالم است. و به فرموده مقام معظم رهبري انتظار سكون نيست؛ انتظار رها كردن و نشستن براي اين‌كه كار به خودي خود صورت بگيرد، نيست. انتظار حركت است. انتظار آمادگي است. انتظار فرج يعني كمر بسته بودن، آماده بودن، خود را از همه جهت براي آن هدفي كه امام زمان براي آن هدف قيام خواهد كرد از اين‌رو انقلابي كه دوره انتظار و آماده­سازي نداشته باشد و براساس جو محيط و جريان حاكم حركت كند، در همان گام­ هاي اول در زير بار فشار­ها و ابهام ­ها گرفتار مي­شود. تاريخ معاصر ما هم از اين منتظران وفادار كم ندارد. از ميان اين سربازان پا در ركاب عصر ما، نام شهيد سليماني درخشش ويژه­اي دارد كه به فرموده رهبر فرزانه انقلاب، سردار شهيد عزيز ما را با چشم يك مكتب، يك راه، يك مدرسه‌ي درس‌آموز، نگاه كنيم. الگوبرداري از اصول و ارزش‌هاي بنيادي اين مكتب براي همگان، سراسر فايده است. تأسي به روش و منش و روحيۀ مقاومت ايشان و نقش ايشان در زمينه‌سازي انتظار، فرد را به انتظار سازنده و حركت‌آفرين تبديل مي‌كند. نتيجه حاصله نشان مي‌دهد؛ نقش شهيد در اعتماد داشتن به ولي الهي و جايگاه او، حمايت كردن از نائب ايشان، تهذيب نفس، آمادگي براي خدمت همه‌جانبه به مظلومين عالم در همۀ لحظات، نياز بدون توجه به مكان جغرافيايي، شجاعت، قهرمان در نگاه دشمن، حضور در ميدان دشمن و نگاه فراميهني و... از اصول اين مكتب بوده كه بايد با مهندسي دقيق به عنوان قوانين زندگي يك منتظر قرار گيرد.
