چكيده فارسي :
بنا بر مبنا و مُدل استقراء‌گرايي - در روش‌شناسي اخلاق كاربردي و در فرايند مواجهه با چالش‌ها و حلِّ مسئله‌هاي اخلاقي - به جاي مراجعه به نظريه‌ها يا اصول، بر تصميم‌گيري به اقتضاي شرايط خاصِّ حاكم بر هر چالش يا مسئلهٔ جزئي تأكيد مي‌شود. اين مُدل كه «مدل از پايين به بالا» نيز ناميده مي‌شود، انواع گوناگوني دارد. فضيلت‌گرايي اخلاقي را مطابق برخي رويكردهاي آن، از انواع مُدل استقراءگرايانه شمرده‌اند. جداي از درستي يا نادرستي اين نسبت، مسئلهٔ اين مقاله آن است كه فضيلت‌گرايي اخلاقي چه كاربردي در روش‌شناسي اخلاق كاربردي دارد؟ در مقام پاسخ به اين پرسش مهم، با بهره‌گيري از روش توصيفي۔تحليلي، ضمن بازخواني معيار و ملاك فضيلت‌گرايي اخلاقي و تحليل انواع رويكردهايي كه در اين ملاك با مباحث روش‌شناسي اخلاق كاربردي تناسب دارند، اين نتيجه حاصل شده است كه تنها رويكرد غيرغايت‌انگارانه در فضيلت‌گرايي اخلاقي با مُدل استقراء‌گرايي انطباق دارد كه نقد اين رويكرد، ناقص و ناتمام بودن آن را نشان مي‌دهد. كاربرد فضيلت‌گرايي اخلاقي در روش‌شناسي اخلاق كاربردي درخور توجه و داراي آورده‌ها و مزيّت‌هايي است كه البته، نيازمند تكميل و غني‌سازي با منظر و ديدگاهي اسلامي‌اند.

Facing challenges and solving ethical problems, inductivism in applied ethics methodology, recognized as a model, puts emphasis on decision-making due to the specific conditions of each particular issue instead of appealing to general theories or principles. This model, also called “bottom-up model,” has various kinds. Although virtue ethics is regarded as an inductivist model by some approaches, it is not my concern here. This paper, rather, raises the question as to what role virtue ethics can play in applied ethics methodology. To answer this question, the analytic descriptive method is used, virtue ethics’ standards are given a new interpretation, and approaches of the kind appropriate to the issues of applied ethics methodology are analyzed. The result is that only the non-teleological approach in virtue ethics is compatible with the inductivist model, and this approach proves to be wrong. This approach aside, if virtue ethics is used in applied ethics methodology, it will produce great outcomes. It is more advantageous to use virtue ethics in applied ethics methodology than to use any other moral theories. In addition, the outcomes and advantages of this theory can be enriched and completed by an Islamic view.
