تعيين جايگاه حفاظتي Phlomis herba-venti subsp. urmiensis Jamzad زيرگونه انحصاري از تيره نعنا

The conservation status of Phlomis herba-venti subsp. urmiensis, an endemic subspecies of Iran

زيرگونه Phlomis herba-venti subsp. urmiensis Jamzad، گياهي چند‌ساله از تيره نعنا و انحصاري ايران است كه در استان آذربايجان‌غربي، غرب درياچه اروميه در مناطق كوهستاني ميان بند، در محدوده ارتفاعي1470 تا 1793 متر از سطح دريا مي‌رويد. جايگاه حفاظتي اين تاگزون بر اساس شيوه نامه اتحاديه جهاني حفاظت از طبيعت (IUCN) مورد بررسي قرار‌گرفت. سطح تحت اشغال زيرگونه Ph. herba-venti subsp. urmiensis در اندازه‌گيري‌هاي ميداني در رويشگاه-هاي آن 24 كيلومتر‌مربع و ميزان حضور در محدوده انتشار آن، 145/1927 كيلومتر‌مربع برآورده شد. اين زيرگونه با توجه به سطح اشغال، منفك بودن جمعيت‌ها، تجديد حيات و كيفيت رويشگاه، در طبقه در خطر انقراض (Endangered/EN) قرار‌مي‌گيرد. مشاهدات صحرايي نشان‌داد كه شيب‌هاي ملايم با خاك نسبتاً عميق در رويشگاه‌هاي اين گياه، به علت عدم مديريت صحيح منابع‌طبيعي به شدت در حال تبديل شدن به ديم‌زارهاي كم‌بازده مي‌باشند و طرفي خشك‌سالي‌هاي متوالي، زاد-آوري اين گياه را كاهش‌داده‌است. جمع‌آوري بذر و نگهداري آن در بانك ژن و فراهم‌آوردن امكان احياي آن به عنوان گياه‌دارويي و زينتي براي حفاظت از اين تاگزون انحصاري، ضروري مي‌باشد.

Phlomis herba-venti subsp. urmiensis Jamzad is an endemic, perennial plant of the mint family (Lamiaceae) in Iran, which is distributed in the mountainous areas of Urmia lake, in the altitude range of 1470 to 1793 m.s.l, in the West Azerbaijan. The conservation status of this taxon was assessed in accordance with the guidelines of the International unio‎n for Conservation of Nature (IUCN). Ph. herba-venti subsp. urmiensis occupies an area of 24 km2, and the extent of occupace is estimated to be 1927.145 sq. km. This taxon is endangered (Endangered / EN) due to its occupancy level, extent of occurrence, population isolation, regeneration and habitat quality. Field observations showed that the habitats of the populations of this taxon due to low slope and relatively deep soil are considered as dryland and due to lack of management, their area is increased every year. On the other hand, consecutive droughts have reduced the reproduction of this plant. Collecting the seed and storing it in the gene bank and providing the possibility of its regeneration as a medicinal and ornamental plant is essential to protect this endemic taxon.
