Ritual Symbols of Existential Intelligence in Ferdowsi’s Shahnameh

گفته مي شود، توانايي بكارگيري نماد ها، يكي از بهترين شاخصه هاي رفتار هوشمندانه در انسان است(گاردنر،24:1999). نماد، با ضمير خودآگاه و ناخودآكاه آدمي در ارتباط و سازنده زبان اسطوره و حماسه است؛ و زبان آثار اسطوره اي و حماسي نمادين و رازگونه مي باشد. مذاهب بزرگ جهان، به منظور امكان گفتگو در خصوص درون مايه هاي وجودي با اعضاي خود ، به خلق نمادهاي آييني پرداخته اند. سوال اصلي اين پژوهش پاسخ به اين پرسش است كه نقش نمادها در بازآفريني هوش وجودي در پيكره شاهنامه فردوسي چيست؟ در اين مقاله كه به روش تحليلي-توصيفي و با استفاده از منابع كتابخانه اي نوشته شده است، كوشش شده تا نمادهاي آييني در شاهنامه مشخص و استخراج شود؛ و در پايان مي توان ديد، هوش وجودي در پرتو نمادهايي چون باژو برسم گرفتن، شكار، ازدواج، دخمه سپاري و جشن و شراب به خوبي توسط حكيم بزرگ طوس بازنمايي شده است. تاكنون از منظر بررسي ارتباط ميان نمادها و دامنه هوش هاي آدمي محل تامل و كاوش نبوده و اغلب پژوهش ها پيرامون بررسي نمادهاي موجود در شاهنامه صورت گرفته است؛ از اين روي پژوهش حاضر با اين نگاه، براي نخستين بار صورت پذيرفته است.

One of the best indicators of intelligent behavior in human is the ability to utilize symbols (Gardner, 1999). Symbol is interrelated with the human’s conscious and subconscious mind and creates the language of myth and epic. The language of mythical and epic works is symbolic and mysterious. The major religions of our world have created ritual symbols to be able to set forth arguments in existential themes with their members. This study primarily sought to find out answers for the role of symbols in recreation of existential intelligence in body of Ferdowsi’s Shahnameh. Using an analytical descriptive method and benefiting from library resources, this study made attempts to identify and extract ritual symbols in the Shahnameh; Finally, it was observed that existential intelligence is well represented in the light of symbols such as barsam and baj, hunting, marriage, burial, and celebration and wine by the Great Sage of Tus (Ferdowsi). No study has investigated the interrelationship among the symbols and the range of human’s intelligences rather the symbols used in Shahnameh have been studied most frequently. Therefore, this study is the pioneer in examining this untouched aspect .
