The Equality and Its Challenges from Preschool to Undergraduate

ركن اوليه هر دستگاه رياضي نوعي نسبت تساوي در آن است تا بدان وسيله بتوان تشخيص داد كه اشيا مورد بحث از جهت مورد نياز متمايزند يا نه. از زمانيكه كودك به مقايسه و ايجاد تناظر يك‌ به يك بين دو دسته از اشيا مي‌پردازد، مفهوم تساوي در ذهن وي معنا پذيرفته و بتدريج با افزايش معلومات و رشد شناختي كودك، اين مفهوم تكامل مي‌يابد. در مسير اين تكامل گاه درگير چالش‌ها و پارادوكس‌هايي مي‌شود كه آشنايي با آنها مي‌تواند به هموارسازي اين مسير كمك شاياني نمايد. در اين مقاله كه حاصل يك پژوهش كتابخانه‌اي و تجربيات آموزشي نويسنده مي‌باشد، سعي شده رايج‌ترين چالش‌هاي تساوي، از پيش دبستاني تا مقطع كارشناسي به اجمال بررسي گردد.

Late Dr. Gholam Hossein Mosahab, the honor of mathematics of Iran, has expressed that the primary pillar for any mathematical system is a kind of “equality” relation defined on that system applying this relation we can distinguish whether the objects in this system are distinct or not? The concept of equality is formed in the child’s mind since he starts to compare and correspond between two groups of the objects, one to one. This concept gradually improves by increasing information and child’s cognitive growth. In this way, sometimes there are challenges and paradoxes getting to know them, can be so useful for going through this way.
