Minimal Realist Subjectivism and its Problems in the Field of Perceptive Faculties

The realistic epistemology that has been introduced in AlIamah Tabatabaiʹs Usul-i falsafah wa rawesh-e realism enjoys a specific subjectivist aspect that can be called minimal realist subjectivism. This approach intends to draw some clear-cut boundaries to determine the limit of the subject, and, in this way, prevent its maximal qualitative interference. On the other hand, this approach believes in some other notions such as `perceptive facultiesʹ, whose concomitants create some problems which will finally impede a proper establishment of this approach. The present paper intends to explore these problems while focusing on perceptive faculties.
