چكيده فارسي :
انقلاب اسلامي ايران را مي‌توان در رديف انقلاب‌هاي بزرگ تاريخ دانست كه باعث ايجاد تحولات مهمي در دنياي معاصر شده است. انقلابي كه از زمان پيدايش به مثابه گفتمانِ غير (ديگري) تمدن غربي، همواره در نزاع با اين گفتمان بوده است. لذا سؤال اصلي كه مطرح مي‌گردد اين است كه با توجه به تقابل جدي اين دو نگاه، انقلاب اسلامي چه تأثيري بر افول هژموني آمريكا داشته است؟ (مسئله)؛ بر همين اساس در اين مقاله سعي شده است با استفاده از روش كيفي و مطالعه اسنادي، داده‌ها و مطالب مرتبط با اين مسئله مطالعه و مورد بررسي قرار گيرد (روش)؛ نتايج بررسي‌ها حاكي از اين است كه انقلاب اسلامي از يك سو در سطح گفتماني، انديشه ليبراليسم غربي را به صورت جدي به چالش كشيده است و از سوي ديگر با اقداماتي مانند كناره‌گيري از اتحاد راهبردي با آمريكا، تسخير سفارت اين كشور در ايران، ايجاد روحيه بيدارگري اسلامي در منطقه غرب آسيا، تضعيف جايگاه و قدرت رژيم صهيونيستي، حمايت از جنبش‌هاي ضد استكباري و به چالش كشيدن قدرت نظامي آمريكا، تأثير بسزايي در گسترش حركت هاي آزادي خواهانه - به طور خاص بيداري اسلامي- و در نتيجه افول هژموني آمريكا داشته است (نتايج).

The Islamic Revolution of Iran can be considered as one of the great revolutions in history that has caused important changes in the contemporary world. A revolution that has always been in conflict with this discourse since its inception as a non-(other) discourse of Western civilization. Therefore, the main question that arises is that given the serious confrontation between these two views, what effect has the Islamic Revolution had on the decline of American hegemony? (Question); Accordingly, in this article, using a qualitative method and documentary study, data and materials related to this issue have been studied and examined (method); The results of the study indicate that the Islamic Revolution, on the one hand, has seriously challenged the idea of Western liberalism at the level of discourse, and on the other hand, by taking measures such as withdrawing from the strategic alliance with the United States, capturing its embassy in Iran, creating a spirit of Islamic awakening in the West Asian region, weakening the position and power of the Zionist regime, supporting anti-arrogance movements and challenging US military power, greatly influenced the spread of liberation movements - especially the Islamic Awakening - and in The result has been a decline in American hegemony (results).
