تبار شناسي يكي از راههاي شناخت پديده هاي اجتماعي است. الگوي تبار شناسانه در شرايطي به كار گرفته مي شود كه جلوه هايي از تغيير،تداوم و برسازي شكلي در پديده ايجاد شود. مولفه قدرت نرم يكي از موضوعاتي است كه اخيرا" در ادبيات سياسي جهان و رهيافت هاي قدرت جايگاه مناسبي پيدا كرده است و هر روز زواياي جديدي از آن كاويده و عرصه آن گسترده تر مي شود.اين مقاله كه به روش توصيفي تحليلي انجام شده درصدد پاسخگوي به اين سؤال است كه قدرت نرم تا چه اندازه مي تواند در ارتقاي نقش بازيگران بين المللي موثر باشد؟ در پاسخ به اين سوال بايد گفت: بازيگران ملي و بين المللي با استفاده از تحول در ماهيت قدرت كه بويژه در پي گسترش بي نظير فضاي تاثير گذاري ابزارهاي قدرت بوجود آمده است و عمدتا با تكيه بر انواع نرم قدرت اهداف و منافع خود را در حوزه اي بسيار گسترده تر، كارآمدتر و متنوع تر دنبال مي كنند. بنابريان مشخص است كه حركت به سوي بعد نرم افزاري قدرت در دستور كار بيشتر كشورها قرار دارد.
