احاديثي در كتب روايي اسلامي موجود است كه اشاره به سه مرحله هفت ساله براي تربيت فرزندان دارد. با مطالعات آيات و روايات ديگر، دوره قبل از تولد نيز شامل اقدامات تربيتي است. همچنين در قرآن كريم و احاديث، توصيه‌ها و نكاتي دربردارنده چگونگي تربيت فرزندان موجود است. از طريق تلفيق و تطبيق مراحل با توصيه‌هاي تربيتي و توجه به جنسيت دختر و پسر كه باعث تفاوت ويژگي‌هاي شخصيتي و وظايف مي‌شود، مي‌توان به تحليلي از مراحل تربيت فرزندان در قرآن و حديث دست يافت. در عهد عتيق و تلمود نيز توصيه‌هاي تربيتي براي فرزندان وجود دارد كه مي‌توان براي آن‌ها سه مرحله پيش از تولد تا شش سالگي، شش تا سيزده سالگي، سيزده تا هجده سالگي و جواني در نظر گرفت. از مقايسه بين مراحل تربيت فرزندان در اسلام و يهوديت نتيجه مي‌شود كه اگر چه نكات مراحل تربيت فرزند در برخي موارد مشترك است اما مراحل در اسلام به تفصيل و كامل و تفكيك سني بيان شده‌است و موارد جديدي با توجه به ظرفيت بالاتر بشر در زمان اسلام مطرح مي‌شود. روش تحقيق به صورت توصيفي- تحليلي- مقايسه‌اي و شيوه جمع‌آوري اطلاعات، كتابخانه‌اي و با بررسي آيات، تفاسير، بررسي خانواده احاديث و روايات ديگر، عهد عتيق، تلمود و كتب ديگر بوده است.

There are hadiths in narration books that refer to three seven-year stages for raising children. Also in the Holy Quran and hadiths, there are recommendations and tips on how to raise children. Through analyzing, combining and adapting the steps with educational recommendations and paying attention to the gender of girls and boys, which makes the difference between the personality traits and the duties of the girl and the boy, can reach the stages of upbringing children in quran and hadith. In the Old Testament and Talmud, there are also educational recommendations for children that can be considered three stages before birth to first six years, six to thirteen years, thirteen to eighteen years and youth. From the comparison between the stages of raising children in Islam and Judaism, it is concluded that although the points of the stages of raising children are common in some cases, but the stages in Islam are expressed in detail and paying attention to the age and new cases are considered due to higher human perception capacity in Islam time. The research method is descriptive-analytical and the method of collecting information is library, and it is with studing verses, interpretations, examining the family of hadiths and other narrations, The Old Testament, Talmud and other books.
