چكيده فارسي :
براساس فرمايش اميرمؤمنان علي(ع) صبر، يقين، عدل و جهاد چهار ستون ايمان هستند. در هر عمل اختياري، گرچه كاملاً شخصي باشد، دو عامل انگيزه و شناخت نقش اساسي دارند و حضرت عامل انگيزه را در قالب صبر و عامل شناخت را در قالب يقين بيان كرده‌اند. قوام رفتارهاي اجتماعي انسان به رعايت حقوق ديگر افراد جامعه است كه از آن به «عدل» تعبير مي‌شود. البته بعضي افراد جامعه به ارزش‌ها، قوانين و حقوق ديگران اعتنا نمي‌كنند. واكنش مؤمن در برابر آنها جهاد ـ به معناي گسترده‌اش ـ است كه چهار شعبه دارد: امر به معروف، نهي از منكر، استقامت و وفاداري در جهاد، و دشمني‌كردن با فاسقان.
حضرت مي‌فرمايند: «فَمَنْ أَمَرَ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ شَدَّ ظُهُورَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ، وَمَنْ نَهَى عَنِ الْمُنْكَرِ أَرْغَمَ أُنُوفَ الْكَافِرِينَ، وَمَنْ صَدَقَ فِي الْمَوَاطِنِ قَضَى مَا عَلَيْهِ، وَمَنْ شَنِئَ الْفَاسِقِينَ وَغَضِبَ لِلَّهِ غَضِبَ اللَّهُ لَهُ وَأَرْضَاهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ»؛ پس هركه امر به معروف (كار شايسته) كند، مؤمنان را همراهي كرده و ايشان را توانا گرداند، و هركه نهي از منكر (ناپسنديده) نمايد بينيِ كافرين را به خاك ماليده، و هركه در گفتار راست‌گو باشد آنچه بر عهدة او بوده به جا آورده، و هركه با بدكاران دشمني كرد و براي خدا خشمناك گرديد، خدا براي او [بر ضد آنها] به‌خشم آيد و در روز رستخيز او را خشنود مي‌گرداند.
چكيده لاتين :
According to Imam Ali, the Commander of the Faithful, patience, certainty, justice and jihad are the four pillars of faith. The two factors of motivation and cognition have a leading role in any completely personal and voluntary action. Imam Ali has stated the factor of motivation in the form of patience and the factor of knowledge in the form of certainty. The consistency of human social behaviors is achieved through respecting other people's rights, which is interpreted as "justice". Of course, some people do not pay attention to the values, laws and rights of others. In its broadest sense, the believer's reaction against them is jihad, which has four branches: enjoining good, forbidding evil, perseverance and loyalty in jihad, and enmity with the wicked. The Prophet says:
«فَمَنْ أَمَرَ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ شَدَّ ظُهُورَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ، وَمَنْ نَهَى عَنِ الْمُنْكَرِ أَرْغَمَ أُنُوفَ الْكَافِرِينَ، وَمَنْ صَدَقَ فِي الْمَوَاطِنِ قَضَى مَا عَلَيْهِ، وَمَنْ شَنِئَ الْفَاسِقِينَ وَغَضِبَ لِلَّهِ غَضِبَ اللَّهُ لَهُ وَأَرْضَاهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ»؛
So whoever enjoins what is right, accompanies the believers and empowers them; whoever forbids what is evil, defeats the disbelievers; whoever is truthful, does what is right for him; whoever hates the evildoers and gets angry in the cause of God, then God will be angry for him (against the wrongdoers) and will make him happy on the Day of Resurrection.
