The Place of Action in Human Salvation in Protestant and Twelver Shiites

در دو مذهب تشيع و پروتستان، ايمان مهم‌ترين عامل نجات است، لذا مسئله تحقيق پيش‌رو اين است كه آيا در اين دو مذهب، عمل انسان نيز به اندازۀ ايمان براي نجات اهميت داشته و اهميت عمل در تعيين مراتب و كمال ايمان است يا در رسيدن به نجات؟ در مذهب شيعه، اين مسئله، ابتدا درجريان شكل‌گيري فرقه خوارج مطرح گشت. سپس اين مسئله در بين مرجئه، معتزله و شيعيان ادامه يافت. اين پژوهش با روش تحقيق تطبيقي ـ مقايسه‌اي به بررسي جايگاه عمل در نجات از ديدگاه دو مذهب شيعه و پروتستان مي‌پردازد. دستاورد تحقيق نشان مي‌دهد كه نجات در مذهب پروتستان در ابتدا و غالباً به معناي رهايي از گناه اوليه و سپس رهايي از خلود در دوزخ است، اما در مذهب شيعه با توجه به آموزه پاكي اوليه، نجات تنها به معناي رهايي از خلود در دوزخ است. اما درهر دو مذهب، عمل از لوازم ايمان و موجب كمال آن بوده، ولي براي رسيدن به نجات، اطمينان بخش نيست و نمي‌توان به آن تكيه كرد.

In both Shiite and Protestant denominations, faith is the most important factor of salvation, so the question of current research is: may one argue that human action be as important as faith for salvation? an‎d is the importance of action in determining the level and perfection of faith or in achieving salvation? In the Shiism, this issue was first raised during the formation of the Kharijite sect. This issue then continued among the Murji`ah, the Mu'tazilites and the Shiites. This research examines the place of action in salvation from the perspective of Shiites and Protestants through a comparative research method. The findings show that salvation in the Protestant first and foremost means liberation from original sin and then liberation from hell, but in the Shiism, according to the original teaching of purity, salvation only means liberation from hell. But in both, action is an instrument of faith and its perfection, but to achieve salvation, it is not reassuring and can not be relied on.
