The Impact of Socioeconomic Factors on the Value Structure of Tehran Citizens

Values are significant principals by which human insight and actions are formed. In this work, the impact of socioeconomic factors on the value structure of Tehran citizens are studied. The main point of this paper is to find out the following. Is the value .structure of Tehran citizens traditional or modern ? Are there any differences between value structure of youths and adults? fiʹhich factors affect the value structure? ʹMe results suggest that there are differences between the values of youths and adults. Religious beliefs, ,sense of social inequality, rate of accessibility of the objectives subjective class identity; age, gender and rnarrital status are the factors that affecting the traditional or modern value .structure. It is also understood that Women,compa enjoy more traditional value comparing to men and youths follow modern values more than the adults.
