The belief in the possibility of perceiving the truth through illumination or spiritual insight, which is practical by forsaking the superficial formalities and by resorting to mortification and asceticism is the foundation of mysticism. The same principle underlies the new philosophies of the modern world and European societies. In this regard, a. lot of books and literature exist from the ancient times and also many great men have appeared who have created a lot of works during their short lifes that have led to their fame and reputation in the world.
