A Secondary Analysis of Data of a Plan for Iranians’ Values and Attitudes (Third Wave): Yazd Province

تغييرات ارزش‌ها و نگرش‌ها در همة جوامع يكي از پديده‌هاي اجتماعي مهمّي است كه همواره مدّ نظر و رصد مديران، برنامه‌ريزان، محقّقان و صاحب‌نظران مختلف بوده است. طرح ملّي ارزش‌ها و نگرش‌هاي ايرانيان كه تاكنون سه «موج» اين طرح اجرا و نتايج آن منتشر شده است، حاوي دستاوردهاي مهمي است. نوشتار حاضر به تحليل ثانويۀ يافته هاي موج سوم طرح‌هاي مزبور در مورد استان يزد پرداخته است، براي درك دقيق‌تر يافته ها و تغييرات ارزش‌ها و نگرش‌ها، در مواردي كه اطّلاعات موجود بود با نتايج موج اوّل و دوم كشوري و استاني نيز مقايسه شده است. يافته‌ها نشان مي‌دهد در حالي كه نگرش‌هاي ديني مردم يزد تغيير چنداني نكرده است، بدبيني در حوزة اقتصادي و سياسي افزايش يافته است. به نظر مردم استان يزد، فاصله طبقات فقير و غني افزايش يافته است و گردش نخبگان در مقايسه با گذشته مطلوب نيست و سرانجام اينكه هويّت ملّي در بين مردم همچنان پررنگ است.

Changes in values and attitudes in the society is an important social phenomenon, which has always been in focus by directors, planners, researchers and scholars in different fields. The Natural Plan for Iranians’ Values and Attitudes, the three waves of which have already been conducted, has achieved significant outcomes. The present paper is a report on the secondary analysis of the findings of the third wave of the plan in Yazd Province. Some of the findings have also been compared with those obtained at the first and second waves to yield more accurate results. The findings indicate no significant change in Yazdians’ religious attitudes while pessimism has grown more among them about economic and political issues. To Yazdian people, the space between the rich and the poor has increased and exceptional people are not found as before while the national identity is still strong.
