در ديگاه رسمي و رايج درباره نبوت، برگزيده بودن پيامبران از سوي خداوند براي دريافت پيامهاي الهي از طريق وحي و ابلاغ آنها به بشر، عنصر اساسي در حقيقت پيامبري است. در عصر جديد درباره وحي و نبوت از سوي برخي عالمان مسيحي و مسلمان تفسيرهايي ارائه شده است كه خاستگاه الهي و ماوراء طبيعي نبوت انكار شده و خاستگاه پيامبري، زميني و ناسوتي معرفي شده است. اخيرا اين ديدگاه در كتابي با عنوان «مسير پيامبري» با رويكردي جديد تقرير و تبيين گرديده و ادعا شده است كه ديدگاه رسمي درباره پيامبري فاقد دليل معتبر عقلي و نقلي است. در اين نوشتار، با بهره گيري از تفكر و تحليل عقلي و دلايل و شواهد نقلي، ديدگاه رسمي رايج درباره حقيقت پيامبري تأييد و تحكيم شده و نادرستي ديدگاه مقابل اثبات گرديده است.

In the official and popular view of prophecy, the fact that prophets are chosen by God to receive divine messages through revelation and convey them to mankind is a fundamental element in the truth of prophethood. In the new era, some Christian and Muslim scholars have provided interpretations about revelation and prophecy, denying the divine and supernatural origin of prophecy and introducing the prophetic and earthly origin. Recently, this point of view was presented and explained in a book titled "The Path of Prophethood" with a new approach, and it has been claimed that the official point of view about prophecy lacks valid intellectual and narrative evidence. In this article, by using rational thinking and analysis and narrative evidence, the common official view about the truth of prophethood has been confirmed and consolidated, and the opposite view has been proven wrong.
