In this paper, a method has been considered for multiuser detection of DS/CDMA signals in multipath fading channels. The proposed method is a modified version of detector used previously which employs multistage interference cancellation scheme. The method considered here takes the advantage of multipath diversity to improve the signal to noise. ratio which is not considered in the previous method. Furthermore, adaptive method has been used to compute the threshold levels and to reduce the interference. The results show that the proposed detector acheives much better performance than the previous one.
