Fabrication of permanent polymeric composite magnets with desirable properties such as: corrosion resistance, ease of processing and mass production, using the new generation of magnetic powders is one of the new subjected research interests. In this research, permanent polymeric composite magnets were made of isotropic NdFeB powder in PEG as a thermoplastic matrix. Magnetic powder was crushed mechanically and sorted in < 1, 2-10 and 74-100 (Gama)m based on particle size. PEG nanopowder was also prepared by solvent/non-solvent method. The effects of magnetic powder particle size and polymer content on the magnetic properties, i.e. residual magnetic induction (Br), coercive field strength (Hc), maximum energy production (BH)max and final density were studied. The results show that among different fabricated samples. NdFeB-PEG polymeric composite magnet included magnetic powders with a particle size of 74-100 urn and 5 php (polymer per hundred of magnetic powder), PEG nanopowder has the best magnetic properties as follows; final density of 5.444 g/cm3. Br=3.82 kG, Hc= 8.415 kOe and (BH)max =14.454 MGOe.
