A survey on financial analysis of sprinkler irrigation projects in Khorasan Province

Water is one of the most important factors in agricultural production and in most parts of the counrry, it is the most scarce factor of production. Therefor his optimum utilization for increasing inputs productivity is very important. One of the ways for increasing water resources productivity in agriculture is to use modern systems of irrigation. Therefor, in order to find out the reasons of no- adoption sprinkler irrigation by users, and financial analysis of completed projects in Khorasan province this research was conducted. Results indicated that the economic, social and technical factors are the most important in no- adoption these systems and if under suitable conditions systems can be utilized by the users these methods will have enough financial acceptance. Although, there should be some reconsideration in the policy making and execution of these projects.
