Safety Management in Parks and Green Spaces (Tehran municipality-district 3)

Because of the essentiality of safety public places especially in urban parks (safety)has been researched in parks and green spaces of Tehran municipality (region 3).Different kind of scientific sources such as international books , internet and other documents has been used in this research and effective index of safety in planning ,designing and maintaining safer parks, has been derived. In this research According to the achieved assessments and determined index of safety degrees in four parks of : mellat, shariati,taleghani and seyyed khandan ,which are significant and have regional role in Tehran municipality region 3 ,it has been identified that the safety degree in taleghani and seyyed khandan parks ,are in the lowest classification. The indexes of safety in playgrounds and park shadows condition (having no effect on visitors from the sun rays) achieved the least percentage of safety average in four parks. Fire safety and perception of different spaces in parks and their interference should be cared in this region.
