Management of electronic resources collection

Management of electronic resources is quite requisite in view of their increase and application by users. Five factors which should he taken into account when it comes to the management 01 electronic resources include: 1) such functions as recognition, selection, evaluation,preservation and organization; 2) the type of library; 3) format of library resources; 4) quality of users access to the electronic resources; 5) time limitation. Regarding these factors, in the modern age library managers should look for appropriate methods to manage the electronic collections of their libraries effectively, to provide quicker access for users to resources and to equip the library staff with appropriate tools for the purposes of recognition, selection, evaluation, preservation and organization of electronic resources.
