Assessment of the collections of Martyr Chamran University libraries in accordance with the related standards

This article tries to assess the collections of the Martyr Chamran University libraries in accordance with "A.C.R.L. university libraries standards" and "Iranian university libraries standards". Its main objective is to determine the present situation of the librariesʹ collections according to the above standards. Necessary information is collected through direct reference to the individual studied libraries (except satellite colleges) and the holdings of 16 libraries (15 college libraries and a central library) are totally considered. Research findings showed that all libraries are under standards from number of resources point of view.
