A survey on the existed works about women in National Bibliography of Iran

Present survey tries to study the situation of the existing works about women in National bibliography of Iran. These works are studied from the view of time period. number and subject dispersion, language, type of authorship (composition, translation, compilation) and gender of author(s). Results of this study show that, number of works about women after Islamic revolution have increased 55 times comparing with pre-revolution period. Works in Persian are the most and most of them are first print. Composed works are 1.7 times comparing with translations and men have considered this subject more than women. The oldest book existed in this data-base is an Arabic book, published in 1912, Egypt.
