Literature review of library anxiety in academic libraries

Users of the library should be mentally ready, and the task of library staff is to prepare such a desired environment. In recent decades there have been many efforts in this respect. Library anxiety which is the result of different causes, is one of the subjects of these efforts. Library anxiety is a preventive agent, and curing it can increase usersʹ functionality. This article is a review on the issue of the library anxiety in academic libraries. Since it is a new issue in Iran this article focuses on researches performed in other countries. This study could be a step towards acquainting this subject and performing researches in this respect, in future.
