Problems of access to scientific information in the World of networks

The aim of the libraries and information centers is to facilitate the access of the individuals, as possible as, to the needed information. Considering the way of access and providing information, potential access barriers will show themselves. Access barriers can be divided into some categories: 1) technical barriers, 2) barriers caused by the lack of information organization, 3) economical barriers, 4) bodily barriers, 5) moral and cultural barriers. Libraries and information centers should up-to-date their information policy and procedures in order to be alongside with the rapid changes in the World of networks and continuation of the role of leadership in providing and presenting information. These policies should be established with the aim of facilitating access and promotion of intellectual freedom with respect to the personal rights of individuals.
