Aims to investigate the status of information production by academic staff at Kashan University of Medical Science. Findings show that information production at this university is carried out almost collaboratively. Of 540 items produced by the academic staff, %36.6 are journal articles and %2.6 are books. Only %4 of the articles have been published in foreign journals while %96 are published in domestic journals. The majority (%28) of items produced relate to parazitology and the least numbers (%l 8) relate to otolaryngology.
