Because of associated complications and problems with autogenous source, there is need to alternative substitutions. As knowledge of material, chemical and biologic properties of living bone increases, clinicians become increasingly able to design and develop materials that mimic the properties of bone graft. Clinicians utilize these alternatives should be well familliar with these new products for better application.
