Romberg Disease, Report of a Case

Parry-Romberg disease is a relatively rare syndrome, which its neurological aspects are not fully known. Localized sclerodermia or morphea (En coup de sabre) is one of the most important causes, which results in cutaneous, subcutaneous and sometimes bone tissue maldevelopment. The patient that is presented is a 33 years old female who was reffered to this center because of progressive wasting in the left side of the face, tongue, soft palate and left eye enophthalmus. There wasnʹt any abnormal finding in neurological examination, and neuroimaging electrodiagnostic studies and EEG were normal too. Skin biopsy revealed pathological finding of morphea.
